Reflections

Still, shallow water on a beach, reflections of the sky take my attention more than the sky itself. I’ve heard, “listen to the quiet “and this vision speaks… It’s in the stillness of quiet seeing that we go deeper into the waters of life. The tides roll in and out, yet for a short moment life stands still so we can think about what is going on beneath, maybe just an inch down. 

 Hazy and soft, no hard edges in the mirror, just drifting clouds of thought moving slowly across the glassy surface. Our minds eye sees stunning clarity from this peace full moment. Inner beauty on thoughtful waters of reflection.

 Two friends, or two sides to oneself, or two hearts walk communing in their own thoughts together. Walking on water, they silently stroll separately together. Sharing the walk is sometimes enough.

 Brains breathe in such provoking serenity. Inner stirrings give way to a deep breath of deep relaxation. Listen to the quiet, see and reflect, be still and know God rests within. Walking on shallow, still water reflects the heavens and gives pause to connect with the divinely divine.
