A Holy Gift" was the second large scale painting I did from my trip to Israel. It is of the Sea of Galilee at dawn from a haunting photography I took before we headed out for the day. When I started painting it I saw more in the photo than I had initially and so sought to capture that deeper spiritual quality. Holy means " set apart" and I felt this scene being just that "holy". Only in Giclee, but size flexible.
